MISSIONARY PAGE TEST 1

The intersection of the lives of a police officer and motorcycle gang member usually does not portent good results, but the Grace of God changes those expectations. Tony Ledbetter’s cousin, a former motorcycle gang member who had been saved, invited Tony, a police officer and his wife Kim to a revival.

During that revival meeting, Tony and Kim recognized they were sinners and trusted Christ for salvation. Through a series of events the Ledbetters recognized the call of God on their life to missions. They began their ministry in Haiti in 1998 and planted the Calvary Baptist Church in Por-au-Prince and established the Calvary Baptist School of Theology. In 2009, Kim’s deteriorating health necessitated that the Ledbetters leave Haiti but did not end their ministry.

Relocating to Florida, Tony began ministering with the Haitian community, preaching and teaching in local churches and conducting a weekly radio broadcast. In addition, he makes regular tips to Haiti where he teaches in the Unity Baptist College of Haiti, of which he serves and President / Director. The Lord has expanded Tony’s ministry allowing him to become certified as a Police Chaplain. Through his Badge to the Bible ministry, he has been privileged to minister to first responders and others experiencing PTSD as a result of traumatic events.

More information about their ministry can be found at www.ledbetters4haiti.com.
